An Island For Safety is the highly anticipated debut EP from the New York-based post-hardcore collective Raves About Mandy, produced by prolific emo-rap producer Hottub Johny.

The five-track EP serves as a marriage between the sorrowful melodies and heartache deeply rooted in the SoundCloud music scene and the energy and aggression of post-hardcore and metalcore. Joined by vocalist Sam Schafer and featuring members of I Met a Yeti, each track on the EP brings a new sound to the table and serves to advance the genre.

The debut singles flix bus and i switch to xfinity offer both ends of the sonic spectrum: the former brings unrelenting energy that concludes with soaring vocals, while the latter showcases a more somber, clean guitar-led sound that offers something more vulnerable and insecure.
